My mom is the owner of a 4R room HDB and I am the occupier. I do not own any property. We were waiting for the flat to be en bloc then I will become the owner of the "new" flat as a family nucleus. My other sibling is a US citizen now and do not want the flat. I will be inheriting the flat. What are the steps she need to do so as anything happen to her, I will be able to retain and own the flat without transferring my cpf as I am reaching 55 in 3 years. Yes she is going to do the will of transfer. I read in a legal article that any retain of flat need to be eligible pertaining to family nucleus and citizenship. As I am single and SC, does it mean I will not be able to retain the flat and will need to sell the flat upon deceased of my mom.? If I am not eligible to retain the flat upon her deceased. Means it will lead me to thinking of getting a BTO f2 room flexi now. Is it better to get a 2 romm flexi now or just wait for enbloc as the flat lease was from 1975.
